Queenz of Hip-Hop

Co-Organizer, Dancer, Educator

A collective of women in the local Hip-Hop community established in 2010. Our mission is to use the elements of Hip-Hop to build, mentor, and empower the next generation of DJs, MCs, writers, and breakers. We envision a local community in which young women have equal access to, representation within, and skill in Hip-Hop arts, and in which they feel empowered by Hip-Hop to promote social justice and enact peaceful change.
